HELL BREAKS LOOSE IN DESPAIR

OK. For those fo you who have been with Despair for a very, very long time, stayed dedicated and are still around for fun and the pain of Despair - this is for you. I am offering random pieces of new gear in exchange for ENTIRE SETS of existing gear. You can use any of the variations of gear, as long as it has SET SPECIFIC information on all the pieces.

I am now adding gear that will make the game more of a teamwork and solo EXPLORATION environment than PVP. PVP will still be around, but it will be more challenging and as players achieve Demigod and God status, yes, they will be harder to kill solo.

A new city is coming, which is only available to LEGENDARY CHARACTERS. You can do new quests and challenges that pay very little gold, but offer a SET TOKEN piece at the end. These will be collected and cashed in for new gear. I have potential for players who MOD to make / design the way these new pieces look, and they will vary by set. As it stands now, there will be a mage, fighter, rogue and cleric set. These will offer higher bonuses and abilities suiting a player that is tough enough to earn them. Each piece will cost from 45 to 65 SET TOKENS each for the lowest or first level set pieces. There will be three different levels of pieces. Each set level will be obtainable at different points, and can be used individually so there will be NO SET BONUSES. The bonuses will be from the individual pieces.

I am open to suggestions on those bonuses. They will be scattered out amoung all items, you can wear what you want, what you can find, and/or purchase with SET TOKENS. Again, these will be class specific to the big four: Cleric, Mage, Fighter and Rogue. You will be UNABLE TO TRANSFER these to other toons, so you will earn them with the toon you are playing.
