Some items to spend your hard earned resources on... COMMENT HERE OR DIE

Well, I am still thinking on it, but very few players have suggested anything. I will list some suggestions below, but would like additional input on the direction that I am going. Please feel free to comment on whether or not you agree with the item, and what your recommended cost would be.

Some potions:
Etherealness
Elemental shield
Absorption
Spell resistance
True strike
True seeing
Epic warding
Epic mage armor
Deafening clang
Mestil's acid sheath

a dragon gem with 5 uses
a froggy with 50 uses

a rod of flying with 3 charges

an evil token bank item
a slaad tongue bank item

some weapon buffing scrolls will be available, as well.

greater saint's blood pearl - greater restoration and heals available
greater gem of seeing - 3 uses

There are no gold values or token requirements. There will be any combination of blue or gold tokens, gold coins, tokens of evil, holiday and czecky tokens along with a gold value.

Time is running out, so please submit your suggestions asap.

Since legendary weapons are so hard to come by, perhaps you could set up a quest or two to get bonuses, on hit, or spells added to weapons and armor/shields?

So, until Czecky gets some feedback, by say, oh three different people, with a complete list of costs, so I can see where people think their priorities are... I'm just going to sit on these for a bit.

My opinions on items listed above....
(first let it be known that i prefer them to only be scroll based... that is why you take a class that can UMD... why take a class for that when everything is usable by everyone as a potion.)

Potions

etherealness, ele shield, absorption, SR, def clang, acid sheath....
100 red, 5 blue and X amout of gold... since they are all helpful yet not to powerful and most are lvl based spells for damages and duration





true strike...
200 red 10 blue 1 gold... since it has been altered to be more powerful



true seeing, epic warding, epic mage armor...
NO! NO! NO!... true seeing must be limited... there are already gems dropping and being sold... i probably have 40 scattered around my toons... epic spells are just that... epic... and should only be used by someone that has done all prerequisites to get them or become a legendary spell caster.

there are tons of these to be found as single uses.. so i recommend a bank item for them

Keep em coming. I use all of the bank items, and am testing those potions and items against you. I shall get a good feeling for them, and see how easy they are to obtain, before I unleash them all upon Despair.

But, I am serious. The good stuff will not be available to you the player until I get some more opinions. I want to keep Despair balanced and fun, and not sway that to one side or the other.

I think these should just cost red tokens, 100 seems cool, or 50 and some gold.. dont think they are strong enough to require blue tokens.

once again I agree, though I could see the summons being offered, as they arent very strong at all.

The frog bank sould be cheap, lets say 400/500 reds.. these are particularly easy to get.. the draggy gem bank maybe for holiday tokens or 100 blues

hmmm... Slaad tongue banks should be cheap.. they are of more limited use... dragon and keys could be a lot more expensive

Once again I agree.. one use TS items can be found.. I have found a couple of nice things like this.. now if you wanted to sell a normal Gem of Seeing I may go for that... be a good token sink


Also for the Token of Evil bank, I think it should cost tokens of evil.. something like 100 tokens, at the desert gauntlet shop (so 150 tokens after going through the pass, plus some gold)

For the key bank.. I also think it should hold Gypsy keys.. we need a lot of those on each toon.

Items put in for Quests
Potions of True Seeing and True Strike


Scrolls have been added to some merchants.
Potions have been added to some merchants.


All four bank items are fully tested and operational. They are mentioned in a few merchant shops, but they are not available yet. Not until I get some additional feedback on costs, locations and purposes of those items.


Weapon Master Set is dropping now, and it's unnamed as of this moment. More will come on that set, but rest assured, if you find em all, it will give you the lovely set bonus!


The Quest for Hope functions well and involves several components, the least of which is getting thousands of Giants, Goblins, Orcs and Trolls to join your cause!


Later on there will be someone in the Swamps who will sell you clues for different tokens. You choose whether or not to share them with your friends. He will speak of great weapons, lost cities, hidden caves and even secrets about the Quest for Hope.
